The short version

Quippable is an app for privately saving the things your family says. Your content stays yours. Use the app as intended, pay for the optional premium features if you want them, and be kind. The details follow.

Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using Quippable, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. You must be an adult (18 or older, or the age of majority where you live) to create an account — Quippable is made for parents and adults, not for children to use directly.

Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping access to your account secure (your email login or your Apple/Google sign-in). Let us know right away if you think someone else is using your account.

Your content

The quotes, photos, voice recordings, transcripts, and family details you save are yours. You keep all rights to them. You give us only the limited permission we need to operate the app for you — storing your content, syncing it across your devices, sharing it with the family members you invite, transcribing the recordings you ask us to transcribe, and generating the exports you request. We don't use your content for advertising and we don't sell it.

You're responsible for what you save and share. Only invite people you trust to your family group, and only save content you have the right to save.

Quippable+ subscriptions

Some features (like voice interviews) require a paid Quippable+ subscription — currently $4.99/month or $34.99/year with a 7-day free trial, purchased through the App Store or Google Play. Prices may vary by region and may change; the store always shows the price before you buy.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings — not from inside the app.
• If you cancel during the free trial, you won't be charged.
• Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their policies.

Acceptable use

Don't use Quippable to:

• store or share content that is illegal, or that infringes someone else's rights;
• harass, harm, or impersonate anyone;
• attempt to break, probe, or overload the service, or to access another family's data.

Ending things

You can stop using Quippable and ask us to delete your account and its content at any time by emailing micgriffin88@gmail.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we ever discontinue the service, we'll give you reasonable notice and a way to export your content.

The honest disclaimers

Quippable is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable and your memories safe, but we can't promise the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we recommend keeping your own copies of anything irreplaceable (the export feature is there for exactly that). To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. If a change is significant, we'll let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. We'll update the date above when we make changes.
